First week of owning the car I was making a left turn (a rather long one) and shifted at 9000rpms from 1st to 2nd...midcorner. Yea, needless to say to rear stepped out, snapped over b/c I didn't countersteer enough and I did a 720, into the wrong side of the road. I didn't stall though , two feet in (one on the clutch and the other on the brake). Yea the S is my first rwd car. Thank God it was 3am and no one was on the road. This was also over 2 years ago, so I can promise it never happened again.

installing the TP on my car a few months back, i was wrapping up the install when i decided to jack the car up to pull the jacstand out. i pulled the jackstand out, but didnt pull it out enough. i then lowered the car using the hydraulic jack and since the jackstand wasnt completely out of the way, it snagged the drifers side front fender and did a nice number on it.

my OCD had the car at the body shop 3 days later, lol.

I was late meeting the gf at a mall once and backing into a spot when the phone rang. For some reason I decided to pick it up right then and stop looking behind me. Needless to say I backed into a pole and heard a frightening crunch. I was so pissed but when I got out to actually take a look there was no damage except my tow hook cover popped off and some black marks. I popped my tow hook cover back on and wiped off the black marks with my hand and all was well.

Then I looked up at the sign attached to the pole I just hit; "Expecting Mothers and Family Parking".

Whoops...

I left the passenger window down in my previous S2000 (NFR AP1) while the car was parked outside during a rainy day. Thanks, passenger window lock! Ironically this happened right after I did a full detail on my car. That's what I get for being in a rush to park :| Fortunately, though, no real damage was done but oh man I was furious when I realized what I had done.

Me too. I usually step back through the gears until I get to 3rd when coming to a stop, and coast the rest of the way. Downshifting + light breaking = smooth and fun.

When I got mine the shifter was stuck in the down position, so I didn't even know it had a lockout until one day after work in the parking lot when it worked. I sat there until everyone left then pushed it out of the parking spot. I figured out the push down thing on the way home.
Now that is funny, mostly because I can see myself doing it. (The part about waiting until everyone leaves)

This was mine as well, just bumped the switch somehow and didn't know it.... I even went as far as pulling the door panel off to check the wiring. I gave up and did a search on here and found out that the lock cancels out ALL control to the window, which seems kinda dumb. Went out flipped it to on and worked like a charm.

I LOL'ed at myself.
