i was actually throwing that in there because of the weather changing...it might not be bad. but im not well aware of the quality of that top/fitment, and so im just trying to see what the community would refer. these mods arent right around the corner, but ill be getting money from my tax return that should seal the deal for half of this

I say just buy the hardtop for now also. Then save for a set of better wheels. Hell, all the ap2 wheels arent that much and look decent.

My VIS hardtop shipped today, even though there are tons of pics of the fitment of it, I can take some good ones for you if you want. The VIS is a really good fitting replica hardtop, and they just updated the rear seals, so you dont have to worry about that either.

hey man, hell if you want to show off your set up here feel free. the problem was a lot of mixed issues....some had trouble some didnt blah blah. but my only thing with the top is that since i am moving and will have a garage available, the top is not of "top" priority now...a mod that will be done most likely in the future though.

my reason to not get ap2v1 or v2s, is that i just bought tires for my ap1s. plus, the rims alone, decent condition, run around 500 for a decent deal. then id have to get tires, and i really want a theme for my car, to make it not so much cookie cutter, without body kits or what i feel for me would be over the top. although, if i do not get the powder coat stage, and i see a good deal, i may very well do that

AP1 wheels look too small. IMO its a waste of money to powdercoat them.

16 inch wheels = so 1999...

No good tires available for that size wheel, either.

My $0.02.

Don't spend money on a "roll bar" which is actually just a "style bar."

Spend money on yourself as a driver rather than just cosmetics.
Driver skill you can take from car to car.
Show parts are just that... for show.

Again, just my $0.02. The "theme" of racer will be a little weak and embarrassing if you pull up next to a stock S2000 with better (wider) tires and you can't keep up in the turns... but the car "looks" fast, yo!!
