My EPS warning light stayed on when I started my 2002, S2000 this afternoon. The unassisted steering was very heavy. I turned the car off and restarted. This restored the power steering. Called my dealer and was told they couldn't diagnose a problem unless the light stayed on. Has any one run into this problem? It's never happened before in the 2500 miles I've driven the car.

Has happened to me and several others. Do a search. Wouldn't worry about it unless it persists.
