Default Power Steering goes out in cold

Hey guys, recently, when we see a bit of cold weather, the power steering on my car goes out. It doesn't go out completely. It kinda goes in and out of working. What can this be. I dont get any eps lights or any indications that anything is wrong.

Eventually, it starts to work again either after car is warmed up completely (except for on the highway) or when the weather heats up again.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

cold can effect electrics....take it into a shop for a look see. you would not want it to quit all of a sudden!

I wonder why the EPS light doesn't come on.
