Default Pricing Help

Hello. I'm interested in purchasing a 2003 Suzuka Blue S2000 with 68k miles in excellent condition. What do you guys think the private party value should be? I checked out KBB and Edmunds, but I was just wondering if the actual value may be different. Thanks.

There aren't a lot for sale with that high miles...the highest mileage one recently at manheim had 49k miles and sold for $15k.

Private party I would conjecture should be in the 15-16k range, 16 if in excellent condition.

It depends.

Is the seller offering the car at book or below book?

16,000 would be a great deal in my opinion, I was thinking more like 19,000.

$19k is too high (IMO) for that high of a mileage. I would think $17,500 tops.....check out kbb.com. THat is a true indicator, we are just stabbing at it. No savvy consumer is going to buy a car for more than book.

IMO, 19k would be way too much.. i just bought my02 with 19.3k miles for $20k.. but i think i got really lucky with mine.. but I would say around 15k.. check KBB, but to me, that is always higher than anything that would really happen
