Hey all, I'm looking to buy an S2000 sometime in the next couple months...had a couple questions. I'm planning on selling my Miata (sniff) but I can't wait to test drive an s2k. I thought it was out of my price range, but I'm seeing for about 22k you can get a good low mileage late model s2k. I've been looking through these forums and have all the model year etc questions answered (thanks to all who posted!). I'm just wondering when the best time to buy is and what people have paid for theirs used.

The best time to buy (for lowest pricing) is usually the dead of winter. But if you live in a warm area, it probably won't make a difference.

If your buying from a private source then the best time to buy is right before Christmas and right after Christmas for obvious reasons...

If it's seasonal where you are then definately Fall or Winter.

 

i'm no expert, but from what i gather, if you're going to buy one in the next couple of months then get one sooner rather than later. as it gets warmer the prices will increase due to increased demand. there were definitely good deals a few months ago (i got mine a few weeks ago for a great price)...so keep on the look out.
