Default PRM Intake

I did a search but found verry old topics about when people first got thiers.

Anyway I am bacisly asking the owners how much they paid for the intake...How it sounds ETC would you do it again....I will be mating that to a T1R 70mm and i will also have a Seibon MG Style CF Hood (Thats on its way right now)

I have it and love it. I like its unique look and sound. Although, I really don't notice a sound difference until WOT, and of course at Vtec...There isn't any power difference, but I did notice a little better throttle response...I bought mine used in near perfect condition for $150.

I have owned both the PRM and the K&N FIPK kit, I like the K&N WAY MORE then the PRM. The K&N is louder while the PRM sounds more tuned. If i had to do it all over again i would not get the PRM.

I used to have the PRM intake. Then I got offered a free K&N FIPK, so the PRM is on my gf's s2k. They have slightly different tones - the K&N seems to be a bit sharper - but niether is better than the other IMO, and neither is much louder than the other.

I haven't noticed any power difference between stock, PRM and K&N.

I got the PRM several years ago for about $250 I think. I got it directly from PRM. I wouldn't have any issue doing it again, but it's hard to beat free.
