The PRM is often referred to as a "hot air intake" since it has a short tubing design that doesn't really get it away from the radiator/heat.....which is the chief complaint of the OEM airbox.

The PRM does make an awesome sound though!!!

I have it. Loudest intake you can buy for the s2000. Easy to install. Doent look all that impressive, but I like it. Sounds great. I have a 2003, with an HKS exhaust and a PRM intake (both of which are claimed HP losers) and put down a solid 212 on a drum dyno.

I have one. The looks are not the best. Looks like a spud gun under your hood. Sounds good. Was thinking about making a box around mine for a little more isolation from the heat.

I have had the PRM installed for two years now....Didn't want to take any chances of hydrolock, but wanted something that sounded nice..... It definatly does sound NICE...I have had "Heat-Soak" two times, in two years. Both times the outside temps have been in the mid 90's, and I was sitting in traffic. Posting an OLD pic. Since the pic, I have installed a carbon-fiber heatshield, on the block...and cut-out the faux airduct on the passenger's side, and installed a 3" flex pipe from the duct opening, to the hole behind the headlight, inside the engine bay. I have NOT had a heat-soak issue since. No noticeable ganes in anything, but the sound is "Awesome" in VTEC.....
