Problem with Eibach Spring
I bought an used 2005 s2k today with Eibach Spring ( not sure what model it is ) on stock shock. Im not sure if this is normal or not, but everytime I go through bumby roads, my car is kinda like swinging around, not much but enough to scare me holding my steering wheel really hard, it felt like my tail is about to loose traction or something, my car is kinda like swinging around by the rear wheels, it's kinda hard to use words to describe but something close to swinging around.
Few questions...
- is Eibach usually softer than stock springs?
- should I put my stock springs back on?
- does this issue has any do with my tires? ( seller said the tires is only 3 months old )
- does tire air pressures matters?
- anyone of you have this problem?

Here's a few things to look in to:
Check tire pressures first and foremost. This can have a dramatic effect on handling. If pressure are off, the car can feel unstable.
Also, how many miles are on the stock shocks? Using aftermarket springs on stock shocks will cause the shocks to wear out. It's possible your shocks needs to be replaced. Most people will recommend you get Koni yellow shocks - these will work better with your eibach springs.
Get an alignment. The s2000 is particularly sensitive to alignments and it's possible that your car is off.
This likely has nothing to do with your tires (well, other than the pressure in them) if they're only a few months old. Go out and have a look at them...do they have tread? If they do, you're fine. Eibach springs are stiffer than stock and pretty well respected so it likely has nothing to do with them. Do what I recommended and you'll likely get to the bottom of your problem.

wow, exactly the 3 things i was gonna suggest superjimbo!
the most basic things like tire pressure, shocks, and alignment cause a whole lot of strange handling issues
if the shocks are o.k. they are fine with eibachs- and i also agree that koni yellows are the best replacement...
i am running stock shocks with eibach pros- have been for about 3 years now, and will someday replace the shocks with koni yellows.
xxlap1x- your handling is not normal and should be corrected asap before you have a real problem (as in lose control of the car)...
