I know you think it is coming from under the car - but the sound made by the visor(s) is annoying, happens at slow speeds, over bumps... and is a very "phantom" sound. It took me a long time to figure exactly where it was coming from...

Just a thought.

S-todo, yes after the service manager drove with me and heard the sound, he agreed with me that it was the strut and had it replaced under warranty.
I also had the visor noise, it was the passenger visor bumping up and down. I put some small circular peices of felt on the bump stop things and it stopped the noise.
The loose spare noise sonds more like broken glass rattling around because of the fastener shaking against the spare rim.
I think I had one of the more loosely built S2000s.
My glove box and top also make noise.

It sounded exactly like how Stodo is explaining it. A "clo-clo" noise coming from the passenger side front everytime I drove over any type of bump that made the strut move. It was more noticable at slow speeds but if you were listening for it it could still be heard at high speeds. Thats the best way I can put the sound into words.

hey,

did you check your parking brake to see if its all the way down does it still touch the rotor? my car kinda made a metallic clunking noise at really low speeds which turned out to be this problem. i had the parking brake adjusted at the dealership and now it is all good.
