I read somewhere that the early 2000 models and some of the 2001 models had some mechanical problems, but i can't find where i read that. I am considering purchasing a model from one of these years and am interested in knowing if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks.

A wealth of info can be found in the search function. It might take some time to find ALL the answers you may have, but well worth it. I would be hard pressed to just pull it out of my arse and give it to you. The site has a better memory than me.

I seriously say jus aim for a used 02 if you could find one. The upgrades on the 02 are well worth it, such as glass rear window, console cover etc.

 

OK, thanks for the replies, i did check out the search area and found a lot of info. Also, HyperDimensions thanks for your advice on buying an 02. I was leaning that way and your input helps me make the right decision.
