Default Problems with acorns

Anyone have problems with Acorns hitting your car? I just noticed the other day that I have 5 brand new dings on my trunk from the damn things falling. Now I'm parking my car on the street til they are done falling. I have a cover for my car, but I dunno how much protection it'll give, not to mention its a bitch to get on and off. Makes me mad too cause two weeks ago I had all of the dings taken out of my car doors--now I've got new ones on my trunk--thank goodness thats the only place they are. Good thing is that 2 or 3 of them are very hard to see unless you are looking for them. One in particular just makes me cringe when I see my car.

what happened to building cars that could withstand the environment? What do you think will happen if it ever hails a bit where you live? Or while you are driving? I'd complain to the dealer, not Joe Random on the internet, if I were you.

You being serious? I guess if we all wanted to drive tanks, then we should complain to the automakers.

Anyways my car has been out in hail a few times--nothing bad, and I didnt have anything damage my car. I personally got hit in the head walking to my car parked out on the road 4 times yesterday by the acorns. I've found a spot on the road that doesnt have any oak trees or trees producing large nut-like fruits. I guess thats the advantage I have of being a horticulture major--being able to identify trees.
