Problems with Honda Service
Update from Jeff (minitoyota) who is working on my car . . .
I'm not sure what you can do about this though. I dunno if you can prove that a couple missing trans/motor bolts would cause the trans to go. I'm going to drain the oil in it tonight and see what comes out, if any. You've had 2 diff mechanics look at the car since Honda messed it up which makes it very difficult to prove who did what and when. You do in fact have a new motor in the car, or atleast not the original that came in the car. With the sounds the car was making when you dropped it off, I was expecting to find the disc in 2 pieces but it looks like its in good shape, along with the other clutch components. So its def a trans issue.
Who ever the Honda tech was that worked on the car should be fired. From a missing starter bolt, missing tranny bell housing to motor bolts, unattached grounds, broken/bent steering shaft u joint, nothing greased properly and the kicker, a cross threaded main sub frame bolt. Nothing was torqued properly as well, either hand tight or gorilla arm tightened.
