dlq04, not long ago I suggested that S2ki create a repair database for members. The suggestion was met with some enthusiasm but they said that their plate was pretty full. I think threads like this prove my point and that a repair database would be VERY helpful to owners.

S2ki, when do you think we'll see a repair database?

There is a service bulletin on the window problem, and it will be fixed under warranty (TSB # 01-008, issued 01-23-01). Some have reported that the fix didn't last; however, I've had no problems so far since having mine repaired back in Sept.

This is a great thread. We should place it in the FAQ section once it's been fully filled out.

My first posting, but I wanted to thank you for the thread. VERY helpful. Honda should include a warning in the break-in section of the S2K manual about oil consumption. Having owned two CRX's -- which never burned oil -- it was only luck that kept me from running the oil below the dipstick.

You can add mine to the window not going down at about 6,000 miles. I also have the top cover problem. When I told my dealer they said they never heard of it. Now I'll show them this when I take it in for the window. Does anyone know the TSP# FOR the fix that works?
