How about the parking brake not holding up the car when parked at the slightest incline!

I seldom have need to use the parking brake but it still happens. For example, it happens if you wash the car and drive it into the garage, where it will sit for x number of days.

SUPERB POST

I do concur that the aerodynamics of the vehicle lead to pitting of the windshield. From the first I noticed that the windshield of the S2000 got hit by bugs more than any other car I've owned. Then I began to see the pitting. With only 4500 in 8 months, I have some interesting craters on the glass. Thanks for all the notings you posted in the first thread and subsequent.

I don't know if I would consider the differential weak but a number of them, mine included, have failed without being driven hard. Other differentials have of course expired due to high RPM launch etc. The Torsen differential in this car is almost exactly like the LSD from my '94 Miata. Is that "weak"?

may want to add; lack of interior storage space remedied by discovering location of
the "HIDDEN COMPARTMENT". it only took me about 15mos until i discovered it. i use it to store my APC fire extinguisher and insur/registn papers. u could also try it for transporting a 1/4 lb of weed, the cops would never find it w/o a drug sniffing hound.
probably should leave the later out of the FAQ's.
