Progressive.........a$$e$
Well I am to pick up the car tomorrow from Progressive's supercenter. I will take pictures of what it looks like.
I've decided to take the car to the shop that I originally intended to t repaint the door if Progressive still stood by they're comment that the door, rocker panel, and door needs to be repainted.
If the car still looks horrible, heck even if the door is still this yellow-orange color, I've decided to send pictures of the car before the accident and after and write a letter to the VP of Progressive's Customer Relations and explain how horrible of an experience I had.
Also hkspwrshce, I will look up the local state commission and file a complaint if the car isn't corrected with the paint also.

Progressive is great as long as you NEVER EVER USE THEIR OWN RECOMMENDED SHOP. NEVER!
My last car, a black 2000 Civic Si with tons of suspension/clutchwork and riding on Volk TE37s and dunlop sp9000 tires was worked on through their "concierge" service as well. I get the car back and a different CD is playing in the CD player, the old CD was missing, and all of my paperwork was out of order. Two weeks later I leave in the morning to take a midterm that I was studying for all night and my car was missing. I notified the police and Progressive, and nothing was done on the police end.
Thankfully, Progressive got me a total loss check soon, but only gave me 1000 for my mods. Make sure you get an aftermarket parts recovery plan added onto your plan now if you have mods.
The shops they use work for progressive in huge bulk, and give them a discount so they don't have to shell out as much money to fix their customer's cars. In every instance where I make a claim, I tell them that I want a check up front and on the spot when an adjuster comes to look at my car, and that I will be taking care of the damages on my own. It is within your rights to do this, and you can usually find used parts and keep the extra cash to get your deductible back.
I hope this gives you some insight, as Progressive isn't necessarily horrible, their recommended concierge service is. I would contact the better business bureau if they do not fix your car free of charge. Good luck.

Well I got my car back and instead of 4 different colors of yellow it's only 2. I have decided to write a letter to Progressive's Consumer Relations, make a formal complaint to BBB, and see what I can do with the local state commission.
I will end up paying to have my car almost completely repainted. But in the mean time I'm thinking of getting a body kit so it won't be a total loss by repainting the car.
