No, the 22 litre car is new to me. What's that, 11 F20C's in a row? Now that'll upset the balance
.
But seriously, I guess you meant the SS2200. No it's not new, or attractive either. The car has been arround for about a year at least, but Mugen have just got up the guts to offer the body bits as commercial products.
The increased engine capacity did bugger all for the performance. Have a look around the web for some of the write ups. SS2200

I'm pretty sure they got the additional displacement by boring and DE-stroking, which if I recall correctly is to modify the piston speed. And that silver Mugen S2200 is likely the ugliest car that I have seen in a long damn time.
Even uglier than the TT...(sorry, Juliann, I couldn't resist)

While the car is hideous, I still really like the silver lens covers they have for the head and taillights...it really gives a more sleek look to the silver cars. I'm sure they'd cost about $1000 a piece though, so oh well...

The bit that worries me is that our cylinders have cast in sleeves of carbon and aluminium fibre which is only about 1mm thick. Surely boring out to 2.2L just leaves you with good old metal.
