I thought you were serious with wanting to impress the ladies by revving up the engine. Anyways, if you think about all the people that track/autocross the s2, you should be ok revving her up some. The trackers/autocrossers are probably in vtec the whole time on the course. So it would take a good amount to actually do some damage. Just as some have mentioned, keep the count within a reasonable amount and you should be ok.
