I met up with tenblade2001 yesterday in VA to buy his Neuspeed exhaust after weeks of PM'ing. Aside from the hellish ride down on some of MD, PA and VA's finest thoroughfares, it was a great trip. Not only was the exhaust in the shape he said it was in and complete, but the price ended up being lower than originally talked about. (I think the "traffic!!!!-Kill!Kill!Kill!" look in my eyes may have evoked some sympathy)

And the people I met down there (sorry guys, the trauma from the drive erased your names, screen and actual, from my memory. Post or PM me to let me know) couldn't have been nicer or more hospitable. Here I am, some PA bonehead they don't know from Adam, and they're offering me food, drink and treating me like a long-time friend. It was very nice and gave me hope that not everyone on this planet is a schmuck.

So once again, I thank all of you and hope to talk to you soon and continue the relationship. And if there is anything I can ever do for you, or anybody else out there for that matter, let me know. Later.

I thought MD & VA roads were wonderful (compared to MI) when I was traveling there last summer in my MG but I was in a hurry to get back and made the mistake of doing the PA turnpike . . . damn what a f'n mess that was from start, Breezewood till I could jump off north of Pittsburgh.

Glad to hear that everything worked out and you like the exhaust....you'll love it when you get it on. It was good to meet another owner. One of the things that is great about the S2kI community is that 99% of the owners are just good folks! BTW the other guys were ff2skip and s2kxtc. Skips wife is _+1, but never post just lurks.

 

I have had nothing but good experiences with S2Ki.com community members. Great people!

Was really great meeting you as well, too bad the S didn't make it as we did a little "spirited" driving after you left. I don't know if the Tacoma would have liked it!

Just to add my $.02 I've done a lot of reading on different car forums on cars that I've had any interest or ownership in. Hands down, S2ki is the friendliest and most welcoming forum that I've come across.

 

This is exactly why I love this comunity.

I was on ClubSi.com for a few months and it was terrible. Trash talking everywhere. That's why I frequent here now. BTW, EPHatch.com is also a nice community for EP3 Civic owners, but it still doesn't compare to good ole' S2Ki.com.
