Default Protecting the car's front...HOW?

Ok so I should be getting an S2K pretty soon, and I need to know what I can get to protect the front from chips and scratches. The MR2 I currently have has a product called the invincishield on it. its kinda like a decal that goes over the front of the car and protects it from chips. Is there something like that for the S2K...or even a bra? ThanX.

There are products that you describe, one is Stoneguard and there are others...also you can get a Colgan custom bra for the front of the car as well...both have advantages and disadvantages..you should search for both because some people have had problems with both, but other people have recommended both!!

i personally don't like the obvious lines seen when putting on the clear bra (plus the edge gathers a lot of dust here in the desert)
if i did anything i would get the colgan bra for our road trips, but i have pretty much accepted the fact that the paint will get dinged by virtue of all the rocks here (only have had my car 4 months and have to replace the windshield) and the low profile of the car....

just saving up for that repaint in about a year

I've had the 3M Scotchcal film on all my vehicles and it has worked great. As Doc said, you can see the edges of the film with dirt or if you don't get the wax off the edge but I would rather protect the front end so I can live with minor appearance problems. My installer did a good job and it covers more area on the front of my S2000 than I thought it would.

BTW: I drove past a Honda dealer in Olathe at Xmas time on I-35 and they had a yellow S2000 out front both down and back. Looked good and it reinforced my color choice.

Enjoy your car!!!

this is more of a passive protection method but avoid high speed freeways and don't follow too closely. *knock on wood* but I've driven through 3 winters without any chips on metal, and only one minor one on an OEM front lip. We have so many little rocks left over from the winter that you think you were at a beach, sounds like sand blasting..

A bra can be bad over time. The rest of your car gets sun which kind of changes the color. So if you took it off there could be a color difference
