Default Protecting an S2000 from theft

Hi

The seats were stolen from my new 2005 S2000 last week and the car is at my Honda dealers awaiting a new cloth top and seats. How do I protect my 2000 from theft in the future. I intend on purchasing a set of Kodokan seat locks (I hope with a warning sticker for the windshield), and I plan on adding aftermarket security to my car when I get it back from the dealer. What kind of secuity system should I get? Any tips for protecting the 2000? I plan on keeping it in our garage when I'm home, but what about traveling around the southwest. Is is safe to leave the car in the parking lot of a large motel overnight -- with a good security system.

Thanks for your ideas.

Some owners prefer to leave the roof down so that nobody tries to slash it.

You may consider some sort of proximity alarm that sounds when people approach the car.

Comprehensive insurance.

Park next to more expensive cars

There is nothing that will protect your car 100%. You can only do the best you can, and hope that it is enough to deter most attempts.

A garage is your best protection.

If that doesn't work, get a hardtop and lock the doors.

sell the car. can't steal what you don't own. or, try hiring aliens to watch the car at all times. they have excellent surveillance equipment.
