Wait for them to come out! lol

Just kidding. I do not endorse confrontation over something like that.
I did confront a Camry Hybrid owner who parked next to me in a completely empty parking lot. He said, "I was just messing around. What's the big deal?"

I always park beside the curb/corner. I can then get it closer and give whoever is beside me an extra foot or 2.

The far walk thing, I dont bother putting it at the back of the lot. I just put my car a few cars away from where the bunch of them are.

I tend to not care that much. As other people said, even when you park far away it seems like someone always ends up next to you anyways. I usually just take any spot I feel like it, and park closer to nicer cars... I also stay away from lifted trucks and the like.

Beyond that, it's whatever. My paint is flawed from rock chips anyways, and it's not that I want door dings but... shit happens, life goes on. I've got too much to care about than stress over it.

I just pull out my handicapped placard and cane and then park in the handicapped spots that have extra space.. Should see the stares I get, they're priceless..

I do the curb or corner, close to the edge, but not all the way back.

Parking all the way out draws too much attention-- you want other cars near you, just not in door ding range.

Generally the people towards the back of the lot are more concerned about taking care of cars, and more conscious as well...

[QUOTE=S2KNFR,Sep 30 2010, 11:44 AM]I try to park with my drivers side against a lot curb so as to at least protect that side.

Back of the lot in one spot. I usually offer to drop my passenger off at the door before parking.
