Check this site - apparently our tops are PVC! I noticed most people believing them to be vinyl, but I am also new to this forum.

 

PVC = poly VINYL chloride.

 

I thought there was a difference, but apparently not. I checked out the old college chemistry book. I always thought of PVC for plumbing fixtures and such, but additives can make it quite pliable yet strong. Oh well

 

The future is in PLASTICS !
