Well that really depends on what you define as a track.

First, street racing = ....I leave this at that.

Second...you will find that most here define a track = road course not a 1/4 mile strip so no it's not the same thing....not even close.

There are many things that are illegal. There are many things that are deadly also. Hopefully they are smart enough to know what they are and dont do them

Keep it to the track and you will love yourself more

I understand what some are trying to say..The reason i got the s2k is for the looks and the performance. I love the speed but also the handling. But its not like i could take it to a race course 1 or 2 a month, nt much around here. So that leaves drag racing or street racing occasionally. If i was never going to use the s2k for performance, i would have got a benz. But i am aware of the possible problems that i could create by racing cause i screwed up the transmission on my old accord completely..

And about the warranty, i have 100k warranty on the car and it currently has 28, but the warranty i have is not through honda, which means i could go to practically any place to repair and i have a cousin in the mechanics business so i dont think i would have a problem if i fu#5 something up.

It's just our natural desire to share what we've learned...

Don't run with scissors, don't use a metal knife to get the bread out of the toaster, unload the gun before looking down the barrel...

For me though it has more meaning... (Having been a smart-a$$ young-un once myself)

I get a laugh watching the reaction of youth, watching the full speed head first dive into the rock hard wall of reality and then getting to say I told you so!!!

BTW Have fun with the car, especially for the reasons you bought it.

The fact that it is dumb to drag race a S2000 has nothing to do with the owners age, and everything to do with a relative weak clutch, transmission, rear end, for the purpose you desire.
