I'm posting on topic and am being more civil then you. There is no reason to delete any of my post.

It seems as if though your popularity has gone to your head Viper. You just simply assumed you would put me down, everyone would laugh and the thread would go on as normal. Very wrong. Let

Since most state that the s2k isnt a drag car, what is the difference when you see some guy in a camaro ss trying to challenge you and you gun it.. Like all those stories about the s2k killing an m3 and a q35. At least in the track its safer if you decide to do it.. Xviper, since you state this car isnt a dragster*(technically no car was built in the market to be one) then have you ever raced anyone on the road with your s2k.. Dont you have a super charged s2k. Wont racing on the road also affect the engine like taking it to the strip..?Cause from what your stating it seems like you have never taken the car over 5k rpm because its not a race car..

Oh and by the way,, the post was asking a simple question about the quarter-mile and performance, not your opinion on what the car should be used for..

Please go back and read all my posts again. I never made this statement. My only beef in this whole thread is "Raw's" crude attempt at humour and his insulting manner. Absolutely NOTHING to do with the original question.
In fact, I'm a drag racer from way back. I'd drag this car, no problem! BUT, I won't tell anyone to do it or not do it. That's their choice.

All (okay, some) of you shut up and stick to the question.

Geez, we need a forum called "The Boxing Ring" where we can kick people to so they don't screw up perfectly good threads.

.....drive it however you want, especially in a controlled setting off the streets.

1. Cluch in, 1st gear
2. Hold the throttle at or above 6000 rpms.
3. Slip your foot off the left side off the clutch pedal, instead of lifting. This makes the car grab instead of slipping and spinning until grabbing.

There you go, a good launch.

Hard on the drivetrain - yup.

Fun and fast - yup.

......see, was that so hard?

Thanks for your opinion but in reality, not to be offensive, i wasnt asking for anyone's opinion.. All i was asking was to see if anyone has done it before that i know many have, just want they launched at.. If you didnt know, then there would be no need to post your coments about not doing it.. Im fully aware of the possiblities and problems that the car could have but can you honestly telll me Xviper that you have never raced the s2000 on the street or the track..
