Default Question - 2001

I know the 2004 has an ignition key with a built-in transponder, which, when removed, immobilizes the engine fuel injection and ignition so the engine cannot be started. DO any of the earlier S2000's? Wondering about my used 2001.

Cars arent stolen like this nowadays. They are just towed. If I recall correctly, all s2000s have immobilizers.

Correct. All S2000's have immobilizers.
