Default Question

I was driving today and coming to a stop put the clutch in and my car was idling really low and slightly rough and all of a sudden just died. My question is should i be concerned or is this something that just happens time to time
thanks for the help

It might also be cylinder compression loss, please check your compression (not too expensive)

Thanks guys for the replies, I was wondering if it was the dreaded Map whack, but yes it did start right up after the incident.... a little bit of a struggle but not much, and has been fine since. Hmmm, Yellow s2kpwr where would i go about getting my compression checked? again thanks alot for the replies

my car was doing that last week. it would drop to like 3-400rpm when going back to idle and would have stalled out if i had not held the gas to keep it from doing so.

I pulled over and disconnected the map sensor. i gave it 2 whacks with the butt of my pocket knife and the problem went away.

i believe that even the MY04s have the same MAP sensor as the 00-03s. they recently did an update to the MAP I believe.

you can have compression checked at any servicing place for like $50.
