question???

I can't give you an exact temperature but maybe someone else will come along who can.
Most modern day engines have an "auto-shutdown" circuit built in. One of the things that would initiate an auto-shutdown would be engine temp. I don't know if the S2000 would have such a feature nor can I tell you what that set temp would be. I've always had it in my mind from the "old" days that 250*F was sort of a landmark but this may not apply to today's engines. Also, if you are using a good oil, this can prolong the life of an overheated engine. Other considerations would be: If you know the engine is way hotter than normal, are you going to drive it in "limp" mode or are you still going to drive the crap out of it? This might be important.
I'm curious why you ask. Or you just curious or did you have an "incident"?
ps. You might try being a little more explicit in your subject title. There are dozens upon dozens (possibly hundreds) of threads on this forum with the title "Question?". Since this may end up being a very interesting thread, once it becomes "history", people scanning the old threads will pick up on it faster if they see in the title what it is about. This is not a flame, just a suggestion to make your future posts more "noticeable".

thanks xviper. One time i was on the race track, the engine temperature was like 145 celsius and keep going up(I got a greddy oil temperature gauge) and the engine since not run as smooth as before, so i stop the race. Since then, my car still runs pretty good. Thats why i ask whats the max engine temperature can s2000 take without hurting the engine.
