imho, those overlay kits aren't worth it. They don't look clean, since they are like stickers over the stock trim pieces. To my knowledge only the OEM Modulo and Backyard Special have true replacement pieces.

I purchased and installed the true carbon fiber kit from IPT just last week. It has quality, well-fitting pieces with tapered edges. (And I am picky about fit and finish). Total install time 2 hours, 21 pieces in all. The pieces really help mask some of the blandness of the MY'00 car.

Original Equipment Manufacturer (often also Maker). Note that that doesn't necessarily mean Honda if it farmed out specific pieces to other manufacturers, as is common. Honda may actually only be the assembler, although everything is to its design specifications. The actual equipment manufacturer will often also offer replacement parts under it's brand name as well as supply them to Honda or others to market under their brands (depending on the contract restrictions). Clear as mud? So the same piece may be branded from several companies but it is all OEM as opposed to companies that reverse engineer a piece, duplicate it and often due to cost cutting or inferior design or avoidance of patent infringement it will be different but similar enough to the OEM for it to function (hopefully). The opposite can also be true, however, where a third-party company actually improves on the OEM design and then the OEM part would be considered the inferior one. That's my slant, anyway.
