Ok, this is a n00b question:

What is the factory audio compartment door supposed to be? Mine is black and seems to match the rest of the dash

On EBay, I see these silver doors that say S2000 on it and its a factory honda part and advertised to be 00-07 S2000 door.

So, was this an advertised option for AP1? Anyone have it installed on their AP1 and can post a picture...

Any other factory silver interior upgrades for the rest of the dash?

I was hoping to do a silver door just so it matches an eclipse cd player behind it, but not sure how it will look.

I'm not sure what year they changed the interior but I believe it was in 04 when they went to the AP2.

The cd cover is now silver as well as adding a silver sliding doorthing and changing the carpet to vinyl over the arm rest thingy.

The door was black from 00-03. In 04-05 it's silver. In 06+ it's a titanium color.

 

Thanks guys. Is the rest of the dash have silver accents on the AP2 to match the door or is it just the door thats silver? That would look kinda goofy, right? No offense to AP2 owners...

 

The radio door and the slider over the cupholders are silver.

 

So, thats all is silver - weird! Anyone got a pic so I can see what the interior looks like!

I agree. I have always felt that looked out of place in relation to the rest of the interior.
