Default Question about lowering springs

I just recieved my Tein S-tech springs today and I'm hoping to have them installed very soon, hopefully by tomorrow if time permits! I've heard that after installing springs, I should have my S checked for alignment about 2 weeks later. But do I need any other accessories such as shocks or a camber kit? Specifically people with springs, what would you recommend? Or will I be in good shape without anything else? thanks.

i don't know much about lowering an S2000, but I thought the general rule was that you use a camber kit with a drop of 1.5 inches or more, but I'm not sure if that is right.

I'm not sure about Tain, but I have Espelire and it drops the car around 1.3". I was able to get back to stock alignment, but of cause, I go with more aggressive set up instead. The stock suspension system is fully adjustable and, if I remember it correctly, can go + or - 3, so you have a very wide range to play with.

As for waiting before aligment, it depends on mileage you are going to put in, how hard you drive, etc, in those couple of weeks. Mine was still changing even couple of months has past, but I have a very short and easy commute, so yours might be varies. Be carful, though, spare some room for errors and don't go all-out 10/10 before aligment, you'll see how screw up it is once your car is on the machine.

Are you on the stock 16s? I would love to drop my car but I do not think I will be able to get into my driveway if I do...any bright ideas?

1)Fix the driveway.
2)Park on the street.
3)Move somewhere else.
