question about missing a gear

Default question about missing a gear
i have 520 miles on my car and i missed a gear and went to almost 6500 rpm's? did i screw up anything? also whats a good way thats somewhat easy on the car to get a nice hard launch??

your most likely fine, I have done that in the past, as long as you didn't hear any weird noises, you just revved it up high and thats cool, no foul there.
