I finally had the opportunity to take the S2000 for a ride...My friend just got it the other day and took me for a ride.. I then asked if I can take it for a ride(something I rarely do, because I hate letting people drive my baby) and he said sure! so I jumped in, and went for a run... WOW! I must say, i thought the shifting action in my miata was short ! everything about the car was good.. I enjoyed every one of the five minutes that I took the car for a ride. Couldn't get a good feel though because I was wearing big heavy boots, so I couldn't get a good launch and shift as quick as I usually do because of the shoes.. My question is, I'm sure the clutch is cable(based on what I think) but it feels so much like it's hydraulic...someone enlighten me please? I just want to tell you all that you made an excellent choice in choosing your S2000 for a driver, and I eventually hope to get one as well. Good luck guys!

Just a word of caution, If you are not aware, the car should not be reved over 6000 RPM for 600 miles. All of us have pretty much adhered to this break-in period so I would hold off any launches, especially at high Rpm's until it's properly broken in. Otherwise, you may be an ex-friend. The Miata looks great. Nice job.
The rims look good with the black.

Thanks for the compliments... still love the S2000 though! I look at the Miata as the "poor mans" S2000

Shoofin'TL! What a surprise to see you here. I've been spending more time here rather than on acura-tl.com now that I have the S2000 and the TL becomes the daily driver (why does that sound so degrading?) for my wife and I. Might go for the TL Type S in 2002 though ;-)
