Watsup guys.. Im a current owner of a 03' 5-speed SportDesign IS300.. Im selling the car within a month with plans to purchase a S2000.. Ive always loved the S2K and its been a dream to own one.. Im more than likely going to purchase a used one. Im looking for a '02, '03 or '04.. I read on this forum that the '03 is detuned for warranty reasons. anything else that I need to know about the '02's and '03's??also, when stock what do the cars dyno at (00-03 and 04) Thanks in advance

 

I think you might've gotten misinformed about the '03. I think the car was basically identical to the '02. The '04 is the one with different engine, suspension, gearing, etc.

 

I've never heard that the 03 was detuned. 02, 03 aren't as harsh as 00,01 interms of suspension but not by much. 02,03 have a ecu update that makes them a little stronger then 00,01. 00-03 dyno at ~190-200.
