^^^don't forget, the insurance agent is very important also, if you get a dick for an agent, then you may be screwed when the time comes, make sure you personally talk to the agent and see if you like him/her

 

I talked to my insurance which is AAA and they told me that I can get full coverage for salvage titled cars, but they said depending on which insurance company you have to deal with when youre in an accident, the insurance co. might take advantage of the fact that you have a salvage titled car and they will try to pay you less for the car. but AAA also said you can fight the insurance co. up in court and tell them how much your car is actually worth.

that seems like a lot of work if got into an accident, looks like Ill be waiting for a clean title one

 

so what is the down side of having a salvage title? I'm in a market for a S2K also, so I'm trying to find the cheapest price

 

If your planning on keeping it then nothing is wrong with salvage IMO But later on down the road if you want to sell it your going to basically have to give it away.

i guess now i don't mind salvage title as much as long as the car itself is in good shape.

i do plan to keep it until I die
