UK spec here for over 2 years. The back feels alot more stable at the edge of grip. I mix alot of commute miles on long-distance drives with daily commuting/city cornering.....and the occasional twisty road.

Tire wear is pretty even in the back, and I still get some wear on the outside of the fronts. I run really hard 300 compounds (for miles) and can't be happier.........unless I had some soft/sticky tires.

All-in-all I can't see anything wrong with the UK spec and recommend it all the time, AP1 or AP2. As a matter of fact, I heard from a few AP2 owners that the factory alignment is terrible. You'll probably be happy with ANY new alignment.

uk alignment is great. u can see the rear wheels cambering out, as if the car was sticking an arm out to stop it from losing the back. tire wear on the inside IS noticable.

The UK AP2's do not use the "UK Optimum Alignment" from the 99-01 AP1's. I know this because I live in the UK and have had four S's, one from all versions sold in the UK
I'd stick with the factory AP2 alignment unless you specifically know what you want to change, why and what other effects it will have

Just had my "UK" aliginment optimised at CofG
(Chris is really a genius here )

If you can wait 24 hours, ( I need to go back into my office and pick up the CofG alignment report )

I can then post back with the settings he made.

I kid you not - The S handles on rails with the setup he put in place.

BTW - My S is under 3 months - and the changes he made make the car unrecognisable. It really is that good.

So... if you are interested , or can be bothered ... wait 24 hours and I'll post back.

Cheers
Gaspode

BTW - I'm expecting a CD of piccies from Chris from CofG later this week or next week - so if anyone is interested - PM me - and I'll work out a way or a link for them to view all that took place.

Nope.. Not lowered. I will do so when the Honda warranty runs out.

But it does handle like a demon. Set for daily drive, country winding roads ( we have lots in the UK ) - and a couple of track days a year.

More tomorrow.....
