So what do you do when you have to take your wheels off?

I use hydraulic jack(s). I never need to take all four wheels off at once. The ramps allow me to do all the work I need to under the car.

[B]I like the ways some of you guys are talking about where you just jack the car up from the middle but I have no clue where those points are (the front center point and the rear where the differential is).

That was exactly what I was looking for.

My dealership service department told me I could not lift the car in the middle front or middle rear, for I should lift each corner first. What do you guys think?

I'm with KenS2K on this one: run, don't walk, away from that service department as fast as you can.

The "Helms" manual actually says (on the back cover):
"Published by Honda Motor Co., Ltd ...
<copyright symbol>1999 Honda Motor Co., Ltd. ..." (mine's a '00)

To me, that makes the pictures of the front and rear center jacking points and the instructions on how to use them pretty credible.

Good point. Do you really think I should avoid that dealership?

Besides, they are the infamous Space Coast Honda you have probably already read about over the last month under "S2000 Talk".

True.

But their service department has been very nice.

Hmmm...
