Default Question for AP1 and AP2 people.

So I have a question for both AP1 people and for AP2 people.

If you own a AP1 Do you wish you would of gone AP2?

And same for the AP2 people do you wish you could of gone AP1?

See for me I'm at a toss up on which to pull the trigger on.

AP1 pros: rear glass, 9k redline, rear bumper cap for single exhaust, 2.0L

Ap1: cons: Old

AP2 pros: rear glass, front bumper w/lip, tailights, headlights.

AP2 cons: rear bumper, 8300k redline. (I know not a diff but I love knowing the AP1 has a 9k rev)

Lmk your opinions guys!

I got an AP1 because of the low price. Bonus if you find low mileage AP1's. After learning more about the S2000 and it's different versions, I'd still choose the AP1, only AP2 I see worth searching/paying for is the CR model. That 9K redline is so addictive. That's why I kept my AP1 and just added AP2 accessories (wheels, console, knob, radio, etc). So many people even go as far as switching to the AP2 front on their AP1. I stuck with the oem front since you see very few of them now-a-days.

Ap1 for its engine and legendary status of 9k. Just raw and dirty!

Find an S2000 in the best condition possible, in the colour you prefer, at the price range you can afford and don't worry about ap1 vs ap2. The Ap1's redline increase isn't significant enough to make it a better car than an Ap2, and the Ap2's torque increase isn't significant enough to make it a better car over an Ap1.

This- its like trying to decide between blondes and brunettes- I married a blonde but that doesn't mean I dislike brunettes-

I have owned an AP1 and 2 AP2s- when I was looking for my last car I was more interested in making sure it was clean and the price was right then worrying about which it was.....

You really cant go wrong with either one.....they both handle incredibly and they are both not that fast in a straight line.

I think you mean once every 2-3 weeks.

There's only so many times we can beat a horse.

Well the OP has only been here researching S2000s for about 3 years now so I'm sure he doesn't realize that.
