Hi,

I was wondering... what material is on the underside of the hardtop?

When I was talking to a friend in his Red S2000 with the soft top up, I noticed my voice bounced off the soft top, making the inteior sound empty.. or echoy.. acustically. I was wondering if the underside of the HARD TOP is lined with some soft material so that it absorbs speech sound to make the cockpit feel even more cozy..

I'm not sure exactly, but its vinyl covering with some kind of backing - it certainly feels like it's got some thickness.

not sure on the material but it matches the rest of the interior perfectly, extremly high quality.

So in other words, the hard top makes the S2000 feel like a little coupe then?

I guess it is quite like sitting in a coupe, it makes the car feel pretty different inside than even having the hood up..
