Question for married guys/gals
100% supportive - I've been driving company cars zzzzzzzzzzzz for the last 7 years after selling my '90 300zx and my wife knew I was suffering (and she's getting her kitchen/living room/hardwood floors) remodel so hey - if we're going to be in debt, why not go big?

My wife also supported me. I was dead set on a BMW Z3.0 at first. After I took the S2000 out, I went home and told her about my experience...she was a little skeptical, so we got in the car went back to the dealer and she drove it. When she got back, all I could see was a huge
on her face and she immediately said "BUY IT".
BTW, we had the advantage of being able to test drive a vehicle that had over 5000 kms on it so, we could VTEC right away .

i bought both of my s2k's while we were engaged. my wife (now) fully supported the decision. she loves the car and it has really been nice for us as a weekend "fun/date" car.
in fact, i've recently been giving thought to selling the car for something more "pracitical" (I've got a burning desire to buy a second, bigger house) and my wife is the one that's putting her foot down. she's encouraging me to keep the car (it makes me way too happy and really isn't that expensive) and just be patient. we've re-done our budget (again!!) and it looks like we should be able to afford both houses in 18 months if we keep the car 12 months if we don't. my wife remains headstrong that we keep the car.
i think i married the right woman, what do you guys think?

my wife (then fiance) was a bit skeptical about plunking down almost $40k for a car, but let me do what I wanted. Then, she rode in the car and now she lvoes it too! she is active in helping plan S2000 events, and even helps change the oil on occassion! I definitely married the right gal! yes, i do appreciate how luck i am.
