Doesn't mean you can't still take him for a ride and scare the pants off of him. He'll look more like rather than and will deeply regret not being with no longer!

I wanted it, but kept feeling guilty about the price, payment, self-indulgence factor and tried a million times to talk myself out of it.

And a million and one times, my wife said, "Get it if you want it". (Admittedly the last 3 included a suffix of, "But SHADDAPPP ALREADY about it!!!"

My wife is supportive of the car, it's the money for upgrades and time spent reading about S2000s that bothers her....

Mine supported the idea up until I actually bought it. Although I totally understand where she is coming from, since I bought my car two months ago, lost my job three months ago and had our firstbabt, a little girl, 13 weeks ago. So, things have settled down, but she really does not care to drive or ride in it. To Windy.

Not only did she support me, she talked me OUT of considering a MR2 spyder to save money, simply because she knew it's not what I really wanted.

She has been 100% supportive.
In fact, she started the conversation, knowing that for several years I had been looking but had not seriously considered as these are not family friendly cars. A year after retirement, we were in South Denver and we saw a MR2 Spyder and brought up the subject. We looked around, I did a lot of on line research and saw the S2000 (had never heard of it before). As we were buying other Hondas, it worked well. When I was called for the Formula Red we were concerned but after seeing it we were both convinced. Even the few add-ons have been very well received. She has her hobbbies and knows that this is one of mine.
Our S2000 is OUR toy - but she has only driven it once, it was the only car left in the garage when she had to go somewhere.
