I've entered my VIN# yet it still shows my status as "guest"... can anyone help me out?

 

member means paying member. on the old boards, there was guest / enthusiast. when you entered your VIN, you would become guest / owner. sooo ... pay your $20/year, and you're hooked up.

seeing how much this community has given back to me, it was an easy choice. plus, you get some space to host pics which is always nice.

 

They are working on showing the "owner" status but as this is shown in the users profile, it is not high on the priorities list at the moment. I'm sure it will get done eventually.

Like Wortham said, a "guest" became a "member" when you've paid. An "enthusiast" became an "owner" when the VIN was entered.

I've been trying to become a member for 2 months to no avail. I think the new version membership page still has some bugs.

I hope to join soon, I have a long list of items to buy and need the discount!
