Depends on how fast I feel like going. For random slogging around town, 4-4.5k. For mild spirited driving, around 6000. When I really feel like getting on it, 8000.

 

On my '06 4k is 76 mph.

Cold, under 3k. Most other times, between 4-5k with average MPG being 27. Of course when needed, stomp on the gas pedal and go to redline.

The S seems to do very well in the 4-6k range for regular driving. I know I don't always get a chance to redline often due to traffic and length between lights/traffic signs.

 

3k-4k until I get 3 bars or warm engine, then 4k-5k if driving regular, lastly if I go into vtec I make sure I hit 9k (traffic/lights/cops/etc.) permitting!

 

just under or at 3K when warming up and around 3.5-3.8K for normal city driving.

 

3.5k-4k daily driving..

 

About 3k when it's cold, about 3500 when I'm just cruising, maybe a little higher (like 4k) in the first couple gears. I like to keep it right at 3000 when I'm cruising.

Usually above 3-4k or else I can't shift fast enough to keep it from bogging a bit. As far as the notch feeling I had it until I worked on my technique. I was pulling it a bit towards me at first and I felt a notch. So I tried pulling straight down from first and notch is gone. Got so used to driving a k-swapped integra around with a conversion shifter box.
