I've got one I've got one!!!! OooOoo Pick me!!!

I have a black hardtop on my black S2000, and i've had it since purchase of the car. I purchased the car new years eve this year, so i haven't had the top off but once, just for kicks because of the weird weather. Also to make sure the soft top worked, but i've never driven the car with the soft top up. However my two cents says i can carry a conversation under the hardtop without yelling, it helps to speak up but it's just courtesy to avoid the "what?" on down shifts and so on. I hear the road, and i hear the engine, but the stock radio can block that out. Good Luck hope that helped

did you forget about the wind/road noise while driving on the freeway is greatly reduced also the fact that it makes the car look like a mini-viper? the fact that the car has better aeorodynamics now? and how much heads it turns while driving

but there is 1 complaint! it cost too much for the price i paid for the top/installation about $2700. i could of bought myself a beater to drive around hehe

Drove my first winter without a hardtop, then this last winter with one. The wind noise and tire noise is reduced significantly as compared to the soft top being up, latched and windows rolled up. Is it worth the money? For just noise supression alone? NO! If this is the only reason you're getting one, don't. You need other reasons such as: looks, security, aerodynamics and keeping you warmer in winter. But since you live in La La land, the latter is not an issue for you. Don't even get it if you think it's better in rain or whatever other foul weather you might get. The soft top works just fine in the rain. As "bayarea408" said, it's too bloody much money to get it just to reduce cabin noise. Use the money to buy your baby some performance goodies.
