I have the long strips. no problem with vibration. one difference.... I added foam weather strip around the edges of the base/screen interface. If you compare the two, rick's windscreen is about 0.5-1 mm thinner than the OEM MY02 windscreen

Xviper,

let us know about the "perf" mod. I would be interested in seeing how that works out. It looks like you used a 3/8" bit placed about 1" apart. From a flow point of view, I think that should improve the cabin turbulence.
