I bought an extra set of low mileage tires last week from another member of this board. I won't be mounting them until later this Summer. I have them stored in a heated/humidified basement, no sunlight.

What is the proper way to store tires? Should they be stored in plastic bags? Should they be off of the concrete floor?

Help Me!! My S-02's are turning into Firestone 500's!

 

I've got three sets of tires in my garage in plastic bags. I don't know if it helps in short term but I do it for the long term "not in use" tires.
