Mind you.. when you see something on the road that's a travesty on wheels then it's a bit hard not to have an opinion on it

C3, you run a great forum. I know I spend more time on line with http://www.s2000online.com than I do behind the wheel of my S2000; but, every minute behind the wheel is more pleasurable than it would be without the forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

As far as I'm concerned, we're your guests on this forum and if you ask us to be a little better at being better to each other, okie dokie with me.

Barry

Hi guys. I have been very, VERY hesitant about posting here. I own a miata and feel about "Bean" 110% the way you guys feel about the S2K and I really enjoy this site but, because I am not a S2K owner, I will be very, very judicious in my posting. I do realize that this is your home and I thank you for welcoming others to it. I was waiting for something like thread of this nature to introduce myself as one of the "lurkers" that has chosen to go ahead and register so that I can be known. you guys own some really wonderful cars for the price you paid. hopefully the next time I see an S2K, they will not demerit me for owning a well cared for miata. thanks for lending your ears...or eyes rather.

Welcome Mr. Miata! I've have my ass handed to me by a Miata or two on the autocross course. They are great cars and you car be proud to own one. It's all about the rush of zipping down back country roads with the wind in your hair and a big ass grin on your face. If that you, you are in the right place.

I have never asked anyone to agree with me or anyone else just that we all respect eachother and our views on things. I only bring this up because there are a great many members and even more lurkers that own other sports cars (M3, Corvette, Miata, Boxster, Z3, etc.) and I'd like them to see what a truely great bunch of people we have here. If you look a round at other sites you find a great deal of trash talking and BS and I'd like everyone to know what makes this place great. It's not the car so much as the people and everyone that wants to be a part of this group, attend meets and just get to know a great bunch is welcome here.

I noticed the other day that we have a BoxsterS owner that was participating in the Wash and Wax forum. Now if you ever wanted to know anything about detailing your car, any car, the WW forum has got to be one of the best places to go find out what to do. I was very pleased to see that.

I'm not saying that we need to do anything differently than we do now. It's just a heads up that not everyone here is an S2000 owner and it's a testiment to the quality of our membership that owners of other cars would want to come and participate and can feel welcome.

I salute you all.

One thing that I think deters people from posting is that some people jump right on that post and say "its been discussed - do a search"

who cares, either ignore the thread or talk about it.
