question on winter tires

Default question on winter tires

hi all....well i'm really close to buying an s2000 in a few days......
i have 215/60/15 winter tires in my garage on steelies....
would those tires fit if i put them on my s2000?
and what size steelies, bolt pattern, offset would work
and where can i find them?

I don't think you can downsize to 15" wheels. I'm not sure though. You might have real trouble with the front brake calipers rubbing.

You definitely have to match the bolt pattern and make sure you have the right offset to do this. What year car will you get? If it's an '00 - '03, the stock wheels are 16" and can be fitted with snows. The '04+ models, with 17" wheels are less than ideal for snow tires.

You might want to post this in the wheel/tire forum for some advice.

nokian hakka II's if you can get them in your size. fantastic winter tire. i use it here in wisconsin.
