Questions on Living with an S2000
I am 5'10 180lbs and I drive my to work every day...to be honest its a love hate thing. I love to drive it but I hate to put miles on it. I get...ok-ish milage but come on...after a lame day at work...NOTHING is better than driving home with the top down ^_^
I'm 6'3" 190 and I am comfortable. Getting in and out is an acquired skill. This is my only car and it has served me well. I get about 25 mpg on average. Tires and travelling are my only complaints.
I drive mine every day to work and back about 25-30 miles. My last tank, I got over 30mpg, mostly highway (I have intake/exhaust/TP that help on gas mileage). I'm 6' 185 pounds and I have no problem getting in and out of it.
living with an s2000?
Yeah I live with one, it never picks up after itself, likes to eat the premium stuff (read: expensive), is generally a slob so I always have to clean it, and it doesn't even wash itself, and always leaves the toilet seat up. Oh and did I mention it gets all the girls?

I'm about 6'4" 235, and fit in the car just fine. Getting in and out isn't even a problem anymore, once you've had the car for a while you make yourself fit comfortably fairly easily. Of course, I always have the top down, but even with the top up the roof isn't a problem. I use it as a DD and also drive about an additional 200 miles every weekend for out of town trips, and it works just great. I'd say around 25 mpg or so as an estimate. And for that year and mileage, maybe around 26k? Depends on how much the dealer is willing to work with you I guess.
It used to be more only car so naturally my DD with my commute being about 25 miles each way in some traffic. Car is liveable if thass all you're looking for, but to be honest it takes away from the enjoyment of the car.
The car truly shines when it's being driven the way it was intended, just like how a camry shines when it's being driven the way it's supposed to be driven, take them out of their elements and yeah, they'll do the job but comes up a little lacking.
Having a company car now and being able to jump into the S on the weekends renewed my enjoyment factor for this car.
Which could I live with as my only car? The big, cushy, comfortable company car or the S? Duh, I'll manage with the S

Its a great car as a daily driver. I'm lucky enough to live in a country where I can drive with the top down everyday (Dubai) and I'd highly recommend it. I get a ton of stuff into the trunk (golf clubs, motocross gear, bike rack, track helmets, groceries)...
I simply love this car! Oh I'm 6' and 180lbs and its perfect for my frame.

Unfortunately, I live in a part of the country that is flat and straight. I understand that the S eats tires to its aggressive camber/toe settings. Since I do drive almost 60 miles (round trip) of straight aways, could I reduce the agressiveness to save the tires somewhat?
My path to work: I turn right out of my drive way, right on to the street, right onto the service road, merge onto the freeway (30 miles later) exit freeway, turn right, go 3 blocks and turn left into work parking lot.

I agree, one time I lost power (battery died) while waiting at a traffic light with no bar at the gas indicator. I end up have to push my car 200 yards to a gas station.
I end up with a huge dent on the body, behind the driver's door where I lean my abs against while pushing the car.
