i have 27,00 on mine, for two years i drove it daily then picked up another car so it my extra car now. i can say my mileage is about 21-23 on a daily basis, pretty much mixed highway and city 50/50 and with elevation sometimes. i also vetc every day for good health, at least twice.

ihave done nothing to the car in terms of repairs, except normal maitenance...filters and fluids. a set of tires. thats it...no/never oil use, change it at 4000 miles and use chevron 10/30 wt from costco and a honda filter. the oil change is easy. i have a k&n drop in filter. i have added rear speakers behind the seats and changed a few things to suit me, like killing the little chim when the door is open, etc...

It is a wonderful ride, quick enough for me when i want it and handles like a dream. what else can i say, superb every day car and weekend cruiser...just not a comfy long distance cruiser inmy book, for that i have the 2004 tl with nav and a 6 sp.

Living with an S2000? It stinks, she always leaves the toilet seat down and is often late on rent. Har har.

5'8", 155 lbs

I used to use MY00 for my daily commute. After I lowered it that stopped. The suspension is a little too stiff for rough CA highways. Stock is liveable. Bought a 89 CRX for commuting.

Driving on the freeway and talking on the cell phone does not mix and I've tried many bluetooth headsets all of which pickup too much wind noise (top up of course). Gas mileage 20/25. Trunk is fine for my needs.

Rear tires wear out FAST. I don't do burnouts but sticky rubber = low tread life.

I'll use the S as a DD for a week or so, then put it away for a few weeks. Noisy, not too comfortable on broken pavment, 24-26 mpg, always feel like I will get run over by an SUV or 18-wheeler.

But . . . if I had to choose between the S as my only DD, and no S, then without a doubt, keep the S.

I used to DD my car, driving about 100 miles a day and this car is very comfortable and I have no complaint. I average about 2.5 fill ups each week so its not too bad. I drive pretty aggressively so thats understandable. for an 05 with 40k I think those should be around $20k

Im 6'3'' 220lbs. I fit nice and snug with plenty of headroom. I dd mine about 4 miles a day and have no complaints except in the rain or snow as I do admit, I hate taking it out in nasty weather But, I plan to purchase a pickup for the nasty days and save the nice days for the s

I have an '04 which I've been using as a DD for about 6 weeks, 50 miles into NYC from CT. It's not the most practical car in the world, but I'm enjoying it, every day. My biggest gripe is that I wish the fuel tank was 1 gallon bigger. Then I could reliably get three round trips; I get 23-26 mpg. I've noticed tho' that as it gets warmer my mpg goes up. Can anyone confirm that?
